Remove or correct a listing

You can ask us to remove or correct any listing. It is free, and you do not need an account.

To remove a listing

1. Email hello@bclocals.ca with the subject Remove listing.
2. Include the business name and address, or the link to the listing page.
3. Send it from an email address at the business, or we will call the business phone number to confirm. This stops anyone removing a competitor.

We remove confirmed listings within 5 business days, and add them to a do-not-list register so they are not re-added when our data refreshes.

To correct a listing

Owners can claim the listing and edit it directly. Anyone else can email us the correction and we will check it.

Personal information

If a listing shows a home address or personal phone number, tell us and we will remove that detail right away, whether or not you own the business.

Never pay to be removed

We never charge to remove or correct a listing. If anyone asks you for money on our behalf, please report it to us.
